01 Sep My Newly Discovered Apps
I love technology and what it has done for our lives, although sometimes I long for the days when I could see other people’s faces instead of the back of a “Smartphone” or some type of “Tablet” staring back at me. But, since it seems as though this form of communication and life is here to stay, I wanted to find out some apps that were out there that might make life a little easier.
The first App is called “Evernote” and it has a little elephant as its icon. This app is brilliant as it offers up many great features for those of us who have to have notes handy. My whole office can become one big “Post-it” note so I was excited to try it out. “Evernote” also lets you sync all of your notes across virtually all of your devices. It also lets you sketch or handwrite out your notes and it lets you organize your notes by notebooks and by tags so you can easily find them when you need them again.
Another App that I really liked was “Skitch.” This app tries to help you relay a message virtually on a photo by making it easy to capture screenshots or any other photo and basically “write” or “annotate” on them. It is really easy to use and launches super fast. Its seven tools are easily understood such as an arrow for pointing things out on a photo, a rectangle you can surround objects with and a “pixelizer” so you can blur out details that you don’t want spread out into cyberspace!
I’m sure there are thousands of other apps that are out there and I’m excited to discover their potential.. Let me know your favorites!
